You were called in to Basso's pub, and noticed the smile on his face. "Hello, sir.." "Hello, child. Here is your amulet, and instead of paying, Garrett told me that he expects nothing in return."
Taking the amulet from his slightly chubby fingers, she blinked and shook her head. "Oh no! I have to repay him somehow."
"Relax, girl. Garrett normally is quite greedy, he has plenty of gold." You furrowed your eyebrows in a stubborn act, and gave him a stern look.
"Tell me where I can find him, then. I want to repay him. He did something unspeakably good for me, I refuse to give nothing

Garrett's POV-
He would admit he thought she was pretty. With (h/c)(h/l) hair and those bright (e/c) eyes that shone in certain lights, her near-flawless complexion, only for dirt to ruin it every so often.
Soft, child-like hands. He pleasantly remembered them from their narrow escape, or when she had ever-so-often repaired a couple of his wounds.
She didn't belong, he thought. A light that shone so blindingly, if he looked too close he might just lose his sight. Perhaps the city's taint had yet to fully get to her.

This story is so interesting and amazing at the same time fore me. You fit Garrett very well into his character and with only small amounts of romantic this fanfiction is very special to me.
